For Those Who Know What They Are Looking For
Buyers looking
for a genuine 14 Mukhi Rudraksha with proper documentation don't need marketing
language. They need facts, sources, and a reliable certificate. This listing
provides all three.
The bead is a
natural fourteen-faced Rudraksha from Nepal. It weighs 1.434 grams and measures
18.74 x 17.05 x 13.53 mm. Fourteen naturally formed mukhi lines run along its
surface. IGL Rudraksha Testing and Research Laboratory, New Delhi, issued
Identification Report No. 153927RD on 19 August 2026 after X-ray and
magnification examination. The X-ray reveals fourteen natural internal
compartments matching the fourteen external mukhi lines. The laboratory
conclusion states that the results confirm natural origin. No artificial faces
were found. The genus and type is confirmed as Elaeocarpus / E. ganitrus.
The bead is
supplied with its original IGL certificate. Laboratory verification is
available at www.igldelhi.com.
Classical Scriptural Documentation
For those who
study the textual basis of Rudraksha significance: the 14 Mukhi Rudraksha
appears across multiple classical sources with consistent language. Two verses
from the Shiva Purana tradition and Rudraksha Bhasma Evam Tripundra Vigyan are
reproduced here accurately from the source:
Verse 1 (Shiva
Purana tradition):
चतुर्दशास्यो
रुद्राक्षो यदि लभ्येत पुत्रक,
धारयेत्सततं
मूध्नि तस्य पिण्डः शिवस्य तु।
"If the
fourteen-faced Rudraksha is obtained, O son, it should be worn continuously on
the head. The body of that person becomes equal to the body of Shiva
himself."
Verse 2
(Rudraksha Bhasma Evam Tripundra Vigyan):
चतुर्दशमुखो
योहि रुद्राक्षः परमशिवः।
धारयेन्मूर्ध्नि
तं सक्त्या सततः एष प्रणश्यति।।
"The
fourteen-faced Rudraksha is Param Shiva himself. One who wears it on the head
with devotion - all sins are destroyed for that person always." (Source:
Rudraksha Bhasma Evam Tripundra Vigyan)
The Rudraksha
Mahatmya adds that the 14 Mukhi Rudraksha originated from the eye of Rudra,
carries limitless virtues, and that the wearer becomes like Shiva in spiritual
nature. The same text notes explicitly that while scholars acknowledge
Rudraksha mukhi types up to twenty-one, Puranic texts provide documented
descriptions only up to the fourteenth, placing this bead at the apex of the
classical scriptural record.
Traditional Benefits and Associations
Traditional
practice and classical texts consistently associate the 14 Mukhi Rudraksha
with: Param Shiva (the supreme form of Lord Shiva) as its presiding identity;
spiritual purification and destruction of accumulated sin; great honour and
respect; all-round happiness and removal of mental afflictions; and deepening
of bhakti, compassion, and self-knowledge over time. These are traditional
religious beliefs grounded in classical texts and individual faith.
How to Wear the 14 Mukhi Rudraksha
Classical
instruction from Rudraksha Bhasma Evam Tripundra Vigyan: string the bead on a
red thread; on Monday, bathe, then touch the bead to a Shivalinga while
chanting "Om Namah Shivaya"; wear at the heart or on the head before
Shiva. Shivaratri is also a prescribed day for first wearing in this tradition.
Keep the bead clean and away from chemicals and prolonged moisture.
