As per Padma Puran, knowledgeable or wise people should wear five-mukhi Rudraksha. As long as there were thousands of crores of kalpas (an immense period of time) and hundreds of crores of kalpas, he would be honoured by gods and demons before Shiva. Therefore, with all efforts, one should wear this Rudraksha.
Shiva is Panchananda. One who is a Shiva devotee or wants to pray to Lord Shiva should wear five mukhi Rudraksha.
5 Mukhi Rudraksha controls five elements, i.e., Agni (fire), Jal (water), Vayu (air), Aakash (sky), and Prithvi (Earth) in the wearer's body, thus diminishing diseases by balancing these elements.
Astrologically, it is ruled by the planet Jupiter, an indicator of finance, true intelligence, divine knowledge, a natural teacher within us, and higher learning. This Rudraksha should be worn by people seeking higher education, lawyers (Jupiter is a lawyer in astrology), judges, teachers, students, researchers, and those wishing to learn a foreign language.
The wearer of this Rudraksha is blessed with divine knowledge and intelligence and experiences a profound sense of peace and tranquillity. This inner calm allows them to utilize their learning appropriately, leading to a balanced and fulfilling life.
Rudraksha malas, a powerful spiritual tool, have been used for centuries by Hindu and Buddhist practitioners. These malas, with their 1+108 beads, are not just a symbol of devotion, but also a means to control stress, promote healing, and effect positive change. They have been worn by yogis in India to achieve deep tranquility and concentration, essential for meditation and controlling the mind and body.
These malas usually have 1+108 beads in them. The number 108 is considered sacred in many spiritual traditions, including Hinduism and Buddhism. It is believed to represent the universe, with 1 symbolizing the self, 0 representing the emptiness or completeness in spiritual practice, and 8 representing infinity or eternity. These malas are typically worn for overall development and general happiness and prosperity.
According to Shrimad Devi Bhagwat, using Rudraksha provides 100 million times more merit (Punya) than what is accumulated by touching and seeing it. If a person chants a mantra on it, they get several billion times the benefits, which is an internal truth.
According to religious texts, upon seeing a person wearing a Rudraksha mala, all ghosts, spirits, demons, witches, Shakini, and all effects of black magic are removed.
According to religious texts, Vishnu is the best of all the Purushas (refer to the Sacred Purusha Sukta), the Holy Ganga is the best of all the rivers (we call it Maa Ganga), Kashyapa is the best among the Munis, Uchchaishrava amongst the horses, Maha Deva amongst the Devas, Bhagvati amongst the Devis, so the Rudraksha rosary is the best of all the rosaries.
Upon seeing a person wearing a Rudraksha Mala, the five Gods—Shiva, Vishnu, Durga, Ganesha, the Sun, and all other Gods—are pleased.
